
Porsche GT3 Cup S is powered by a single-piece six-piston aluminum fixed calipers; inner-vented, 380 mm in diameter; racing brake pads front brakes and single-piece four-piston aluminum fixed calipers; inner-vented, 355 mm in diameter rear brakes. It has a 6 cylinder engine with a four-valve technology; dry sump lubrication; two-stage resonance intake with 440.00 BHP (323.8 KW) @ 8000.00 RPM horsepower and 430.00 NM (317 Ft-Lbs) @ 7250.00 RPM. To a large extent, the 3.6-liter boxer engine is identical to the power unit used in the Porsche Mobil1 Supercup and the international Carrera Cup championships. Power output has increased by 25 horsepower to now 440 bhp at 8,000 rpm. Maximum torque is up by 17 lb-ft to 317 at 7,250 revs per minute. The power increase results from optimized engine electronics and a modified exhaust system.




The new GT3 Cup S costs 250,000 Euro plus national VAT and is scheduled for delivery to customer teams from April. Additionally, Porsche offers a kit to upgrade the 2007 Cup models to the GT3 Cup S standard.
